Rice, beans, Imperial, and surf!
This is only my 3rd (or 4th) day travelling and I have lost track of time and even the date (I just had to ask someone..) and it is amazing. I was planning on only spending one night in Jaco but I am going on my third. This place is beutiful and I am staying at this awesome hostel, where I have met cool people. The owners are very personable and have shown us things that would have never found on my own. For example, last night several of us took a cab up this small two track up to a marble staircase/lookout that looked like it came straight from The Pantheon. The sunset was unbelieveable over the beach and town.
I have been surfing and exploring the town with a couple of guys and a girl from New Orleans. Both of the guys are unemplyed right now and decided to travel. It is amazing how many people are the same way right now. I am a huge fan of the fact they decided to spend what money they have on doing some travelling instead of searching endlessly for opportunity that is probably not there. What opportunity is better than this??
Surfing has been amazing, I love it! I am sore as can be right now but its so worth it. Off to Manuel Antonio tomorrow for some kayaking, snorkeling and perhaps hang gliding (sorry mom). Love you all!
